The Voice of an Ancient People — and Why It Matters
Our vision is to achieve international visibility, recognition and support for the Aramean people and the Aramaic language. This is a prerequisite for our survival.
As the representative body of the Arameans, our mission is to safeguard the future of the Aramean people and their Aramaic language.

The Arameans are among the world's oldest civilizations. Their language, Aramaic — the language of Jesus — once served as the lingua franca of the ancient Middle East. Today, the Aramean people face extinction in their ancestral homeland. WCA is their voice at the United Nations, the EU, and beyond.
